Despite the three women seemingly getting along swimmingly, many viewers took to Twitter to slam Geri's turn as interviewer and host and the topic was soon trending across the UK.

One user likened the interview to former TOWIE star Joey Essex, who is not known for his intelligence, having the chance to chat to esteemed physicist Stephen Hawking.

After the live show, Geri herself took to the microblogging site to share an image where she posed alongside co-host Alex, Malala and fellow guest Charlotte Church.
Afterwards, the Watford-born star made an unfortunate gaffe in her caption, as she misspelled Malala's name, writing: 'An evening of girl power. Alex, Charlotte, Mallala [sic] and me.'

Geri, who married F1 boss Christian Horner in May, went for a neutral pallet in her outfit as she wore the black, wool tie-waist coat which she layered over her skin-tight jeans which flaunted her slender legs.
The petite star added height to her diminutive frame with a pair of chic suede ankle boots, which further enhanced her slender pins.
She toted a chic, taupe doctor-style bag while shielding her eyes with a pair of Ray Ban aviators - which boasted shades in a similar hue to her bag.
